Christmas Gathering — Celebrating the Heart of the School
This month, the dedicated teachers and support staff gathered for a Christmas celebration filled with laughter, games, prizes, and thoughtful gifts. The evening was a beautiful expression of the unity and care that define the school community.
Moments like these honor the people who faithfully walk alongside each child every day with compassion, dedication, and hope. The staff truly remain the heart of The Little Mountain School.
A Sweet Surprise for the Students
The students received a delightful Christmas surprise when a local café in nearby Palencia generously donated a cake for all the children to share.
This simple but meaningful gesture reflected the growing network of community support surrounding the school. The joy on the children’s faces was a reminder of how deeply they are cared for—not only by the school, but by the broader community as well.
Looking Ahead to a Growing Future
As the school prepares for the coming year, more than 34 new students are expected to join the Little Mountain School community. This growth is a tremendous blessing and a sign of the trust families place in the school.
Growth also brings new opportunities: additional teachers, expanded classroom resources, more meals, transportation needs, and the next phase of school building expansion. Careful planning is already underway to ensure the school continues to provide a stable, enriching environment for every child.
